 It is our hope that this tool will primarily be employed by responsible dog owners who want to ensure their companion animals are not creating a nuisance for others. On the other hand, property managers, homeowners associations, and animal control officers will find Bark Witness to be an essential independent witness for enforcing noise ordinances against irresponsible dog owners too. 

 Field testing indicates an average 94% accuracy over a wide variety of breeds. Other sudden and loud sounds will occasionally trigger false-positive reporting. We are in a public Beta stage of development to further refine the AI model before commercial launch. 

 Audio clips are only recorded when the AI detects dog sounds. These are typically short files of up to a few seconds. Any background human conversations are thus incomplete. Also, as a standalone portable device, Bark Witness audio files and reports cannot be accessed over the Internet.

 The current version is designed for indoor use. A water-resistant version for outdoors will be available soon.
